Description

The Northern Inclusion Consortium is inviting interested parties to tender for the supply and delivery of a service across the five Tees Valley Local Authority areas (Darlington, Stockton, Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Redcar and Cleveland) to:
1.Increase the access and engagement of female participants onto the Step Forward Tees Valley Building Better Opportunities Programme.
2.Increase the skill, knowledge base and employability prospects of female participants on the programme.
The Programme and Partners.
The Northern Inclusion Consortium (NIC), is an established partnership of four of the North East's largest charities - DISC, Groundwork, Changing Lives and Mental Health Concern. See www.niconsortium.org for more information. Working with a broader set of delivery partners we are delivering the Big Lottery Fund / European Social Fund funded Building Better Opportunities Programme in Tees Valley through the Step Forward Tees Valley Programme.
The programme aims to improve employability for the most disadvantaged and provide help to those with multiple and complex needs using a case management model. Each participant that comes onto the programme will be allocated to a Navigator who will provide the one-one support and enable the access to services that the participant requires. The programme aims to work with an equal number of males and females and a particular target group are females who are classed as being economically inactive, which could be the result of having childcare responsibilities or those thinking about returning to training and work after a period of illness.
For more information about the programme please follow this link www.sfteesvalley.co.uk.
