Description

South Somerset District Council (SSDC) is seeking to commission consultants to produce an update to existing Retail and Main Town Centre Uses Study (2017) in support of the Council's emerging Local Plan Review. This will need to take account of a number of relevant factors, including: the revised 2019 National Planning Policy Framework and planning practice guidance, the significant changes to the retail landscape as a result of changing consumer behaviour, impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic and Brexit, and legislative changes to the Use Classes Order.
