Description

The Authority has set out two 'Service Systems' for structuring its homelessness prevention support. Each 'Service System' includes a range of practical responses in order to respond flexibly to individuals' needs:

• 1.2.1.1 Support for Homeless people aged 25 and over, including those with multiple needs (such as, but not limited to, problematic drug and alcohol use, offending behaviour, mental health problems, learning disabilities, older homeless people, veterans). This service is covered by a separate provider contract.

• 1.2.1.2 Support for Service Users aged between 16-24 years inclusive, who are Homeless or at risk of becoming Homeless, including those with chaotic lives (including drug and alcohol use, offending behaviour, mental health problems, learning disabilities), care leavers, unaccompanied 16-18 year olds, teenage parents and Lesbian Gay Bi-sexual and Transgender (LGBT) people through Supported Accommodation which includes provision for needs which are: Low, Medium, High and Very High. The Service includes Support for Service Users whose needs are low. The Service will also provide Crisis Beds.
