Description

Bury Town Centre Management Board, with support from Bury Council, are looking to appoint a suitably qualified BID Consultant to undertake a BID Feasibility Study for Bury Town Centre, followed by possible progression through to Ballot/BID Set Up (dependent on the findings of the Feasibility Study).
The project will be led and managed by Bury Town Centre Management Board (BTCMB), a partnership representing businesses and key stakeholders in the town centre.

BTCMB is looking at a partnership approach which engages businesses and other stakeholders in activity which will support the ongoing development and success of the town centre. The group therefore are seeking to determine whether a BID would be a viable option for Bury town centre. BTCMB have recently secured BID Loan funding (MHCLG) in order to take the project forward.
The project will need to be undertaken in three stages.
Stage 1 Feasibility Study
Stage 2 BID Development through to, and including, BID ballot
Stage 3 BID Set Up
The successful bidders will need to provide a proposal which includes timescales and full costs for the overall project and which also clearly sets out the tasks, full project costs (including staff costs) for each stage along with details of the staff involved.
The closing time for expressing an interest in the opportunity via The Chest is 5.00 pm on Monday 30th July 2018
The closing time for completed tender submissions, via The Chest, is 12 noon on Friday 3rd August 2018.
