Description

The Council wishes to tender a contract for the alterations to allow the change of priority to the existing junction at Catterick Bridge, North Yorkshire. The main elements of the works briefly comprise: Removing and realigning kerb lines with new kerbs, however on the bridge the existing ones are to be re-used Realign and reconstruct existing footways as required Construct a length of retaining wall Provide two traffic islands Widen existing carriageway and reconstruct several areas of existing carriageway Re-profile and re-surfacing the junction area and the approaches on each side of the junction Construct new access for adjacent landowner Road marking and road signs Improvements to the existing road lighting
