Description

Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council (The Council) is seeking to engage a specialist
to undertake the design, production, installation and operation of a digital mapped artwork projection with soundtrack for Barnsley Winter Event 28th November - 1st December inclusive.
Barnsley Winter Festival is an exciting new initiative for 2018 and aims to introduce a spectacular event experience to Barnsley, signify a new direction in provision and become an anchor in the annual programme for years to come. Building on an established and hugely popular annual Christmas Lights Switch On, this new event will extend to 4 days with supporting elements such as a Christmas Market and fireworks to generate an expanded cultural offer. The centrepiece is to be a specially commissioned mapped digital projection on Barnsley Town Hall to celebrating Barnsley and its aspirations for the future and provide a high impact and high profile spectacle of sound and vision.
