Description
Innovate UK would like to appoint a research agency to shape monitor and track over 11-12 month period the impact that our communications activity is having on our customers and key stakeholders, across the research base and government. We would like an agency to explore the following;
Overarching impact of all communications plans, both challenge and responsive
The impact of key corporate events, namely Innovate 2015 on raising awareness of who we are and what we do, with key stakeholders (government and research) and business customers
Identify how well the name change, from The Technology Strategy Board to Innovate UK has been received and understood
Test key messaging
Build insights about who are customers are and how best to communicate with them
The agency must provide value add insight to the evaluation which Innovate UK communications team can generate through Google analytics for example.
Research agencies are invited to pitch for this work, providing costed recommendations on the best approach and methodology required delivering the insights required.
The agency should suggest a research methodology that will allow Innovate UK to understand the impact that its communications is having with target audiences. Over the course of the year, the agency will support the development of and test the customer insights that will allow us to better target our customers in the long term.
The output of activity should be in the form of a report on a regular basis (exact timings to be agreed) which benchmarks where we are at the beginning of the year and how, over time our communications impact upon the awareness levels, understanding of who we are and what we do and how satisfaction levels have changed over time.
