Description

Buildings 329 and 330 require these Critical Works to be carried out in order to maintain APHA business until a new poultry facility can be constructed.
The facility is utilised for research in to the zoonotic pathogens Campylobacter, Salmonella, E.coli (these are classified as ACDP Hazard Group 2) and the non-zoonotic pathogen Coccidia which is not ACDP classified. However after the upgrade the building will be downgraded to a CL2 facility until the new CL2 poultry facility will be built.
