Description

The Foreign and Commonwealth office intend to procure technical assistance for the Pune Municipal Corporation, Government of Maharashtra as they prepare the Draft Development Plan and Development Plan related to the 11 newly merged villages mentioned above. This will include, but is not limited to, the following tasks to achieve the desired deliverables:

- Design and develop a comprehensive draft development plan in 2D, digital georeferenced model, inclusive of all thematic layers, for the newly merged 11 villages. In addition, draw proposals for high level utilities and infrastructure networks (viz. power supply, water supply, sewerage and drainage system, waste management, flood management, smart information etc.) according to the paradigm of 'smart', 'sustainable', 'future proofed' solutions, in collaboration with PMC.
- Develop a draft implementation strategy / roadmap (including the investment plan) for all the key elements of the project and for the draft development plan highlighting on how typical areas of the 11-villages should aim to be developed.
- Present and discuss the draft development plan and the draft implementation strategy / roadmap to PMC to incorporate the necessary changes suggested by PMC.
- Rework the draft development plan and draft implementation strategy / roadmap in consultation with PMC to develop a revised draft of the documents.
- Jointly with PMC, approach the Urban Development Department (UDD), Government of Maharashtra (GoM) with the revised draft development plan for necessary approvals.
- Discuss and present the revised draft development plan and the draft implementation strategy / roadmap to UDD, GoM for necessary feedback and suggestions for improvement.
- Finalise the revised draft development plan and draft implementation strategy / roadmap in consultation with PMC & UDD, GOM and deliver the development plan and the implementation strategy / roadmap.
- Organise an event to formally launch the Development Plan and the implementation report.
