Description

SCOPE OF WORKS: FENCING INSTALLATION AND MANAGEMENT REQUIREMENTS

New fencing will be erected within the site to define and protect the new planting areas during the establishment period, principally from damage from potential stock and rabbits. Two basic types will be erected:

1. Stock proof post & rail (or wire) rabbit proof fencing 1.2m tall
2. Rabbit proof fencing 900mm high

Inspect all lines, fencing, gates and stiles every YEAR to a period of 5 years. Report any damage to the CBC representative and provide a programme for repair. The Contractor should price an annual visit and potential remedial works as a result of the installation, settlement, tensioning and any minor repairs.

The work is expected to commence within a month of appointment of the Contractor. It is estimated that the establishment of fencing materials, gates and stiles be completed within approximately 2-3 months of the date of commencement and dependant on weather conditions.
