Description

1.1 Leicestershire County Council is seeking to identify and appoint a Contractor to carry out parapet replacement works on the River Soar bridges on Soar Valley Way nr Fosse Park, Leicester. The work needs to be carried out during a two week period in July 2019
The parapet on the bridge in question was recently damaged by a vehicle in an accident. The Employer currently has temporary concrete barriers in place to protect the damaged parapet. The bridge is in an extremely high profile location with it being on a major ring road leading Fosse Park and the M1.
