Description
NHS Hull Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is seeking expressions of interests from potential providers of community eating disorder services for adults. The service will provide a clinically safe, high quality, dignified, and cost effective service user centred eating disorder service that will provide support, intervention, and evidence based treatment for individuals aged 18 and over and is compliant with relevant NHS guidelines for the treatment of Eating Disorders.
The service will be required to:
- Provide expert clinical knowledge and skills in the assessment of and providing clinically appropriate interventions to support the individual in the management of their eating disorder;
- Deliver a range of support packages bespoke to the individual which will improve their quality of life;
- Provide structured support programmes to individuals or groups of individuals with eating disorder conditions;
- Work with the children and young people's eating disorder service in the City to ensure seamless transition and support for children and young people into the adult service;
- Ensure that individuals with eating disorders will receive prompt, appropriate information and signposting to the range of health and wellbeing services available to them;
- Support the reduction and need of inpatient admissions due to eating disorder conditions and when individuals are admitted, work proactively with the in-patient provider to ensure timely pathway back to community services.
It is the intention that formal procurement activities will commence in August 2018.
The contract would be for 5 years with the option to extend by 24 months

The contract would be for 5 years with the option to extend by up to 24 months.
