Description

Midland Heart has a requirement to ensure that hot water and storage systems - including thermostatic mixer valves, unvented cylinders and booster sets - are installed, serviced and maintained so that risks from scalding or bacterial infection are non-existent or reduced to an absolute minimum.

Accordingly, this procurement exercise is seeking proposals from water hygiene service providers who are able to provide services, including but not limited to:
o Monitoring, sampling and cleaning of water systems
o Certain remedial works
o Periodic servicing
o Cold water shut off testing requirements for thermostatic mixer valves

The requirement shall be broken down in Lots, as follows:

o Lot 1 - Water Hygiene Maintenance and Thermostatic Mixer Valve (TMV) Servicing. (This Lot shall include the monitoring, sampling and cleaning of water systems)
o Lot 2 - Remedial Works and Reactive Repairs
o Lot 3 - Risk Assessments
