Description

Creative Fuse North East will unlock the true potential of the creative, digital and tech sectors to drive innovation & growth of the region's economy.
Creative Fuse North East will run until October 2018, and we anticipate this activity will run throughout the duration of delivery.

CFNE seeks to commission a partner organisation to deliver a business innovation programme, aimed at IT and digital businesses. This applicant will work with existing networks and associations across the sector to create engagement in the project, host a series of events, hackathons, innovation days and activities in Newcastle and deliver a programme of bespoke business innovation which may on occasion draw on the expertise of Newcastle University academics to:

o Identify and engage with innovation ready companies
o Link identified companies to CFNE and provide assessment of innovation need and potential
o Develop innovation development events and activities including hackthons & innovation workshops
o Develop bespoke innovation interventions to explore development of new products and services to the business
o Deliver all necessary documentation to comply with ERDF funding
o Hold monthly project meetings with CFNE Project Manager
o Share learning and best practice from the programme across the sector, producing reports and materials for dissemination and open access.
o Deliver agreed levels of business engagement and project outputs
o Deliver at least two iterations of this activity - one each in 2017 & 2018
