Description

Requires a data provider to supply comprehensive and robust information on the financial returns performance of UK and European Venture Capital (VC) funds. The Bank requires this information:
•To be able to publicly discuss the performance of the UK VC asset class compared to other assets publicly to stakeholder organisations and the wider finance industry.
•To be able to benchmark the performance of the VC funds the bank has invested in to the wider VC market.
•To be able to provide insight into performance of a VC fund over its life time (for instance, assessing typical J-curves and drawdown profiles).
•To provide insights into factors associated with higher fund financial returns.
