The Belsay Awakes project, which is supported by a grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, aims to secure the future of the site by completing much-needed conservation works on buildings and grounds, increasing and diversifying audiences, enhancing the experience for visitors with a focus on revitalising the Castle area, and improving interpretation and access for all.
