Description
The project comprises the removal of existing non-compliant cladding and the design, supply and installation of the new cladding to meet building regulations approval.
56 High Street is a high rise multi-tenanted residential building with a retail unit at Ground floor. The property is situated on High Street, Manchester, bounded by Co-Op Food to the South and commercial office buildings to the North. Opposite the building is the Arndale Shopping Centre and the Metro Link Tram line runs in front of the building.
The Garden House, 114 High Street is a high rise multi-tenanted residential building with a retail unit at ground floor. The property is situated on High Street, Manchester, bounded by similar residential and commercial buildings.
The estimated Contract Commencement Date will be Monday 1st February 2021 and it is envisaged that the Contract Period will be over approximately 20 weeks (the Contractors will submit a programme of Works for each of the projects as part of the Contractors Proposals) from the agreed Contract Commencement Date. However, this will be subject to change, depending on the 'Indicative Procurement Timetable' below at section 14, and the accepted/agreed programme of delivery with the successful supplier(s).
TRG are tendering two packages, one for '56 High Street', and another for 'Garden House'. Applicants must apply for both tenders, and may be appointed one or both Contracts based on the Most Economically Advantageous bids received.
