Description
The Authority invites suitably experience and qualified Organisations to apply for a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for Aids and Adaptions. The DPS has an initial period of 24 months with two further extension options of up to 12 months each at the sole discretion of the Authority.
The Authority funds and manages the provision of a range of adaptations for customers following an assessment of need carried out by an Occupational Therapist.
The Aids and Adaptations Team administer and manage the provision in accordance with the Authority's Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG) Home Adaptation and Relocation Assistance Policy. It should be noted that some or all of the DPS Lots may also be utilised on other properties that are not funded via the DFG programme.
Contractors shall provide the required resources to carry out a range of adaptations in occupied dwellings in accordance with the Authority's specifications, drawings and contract instructions, the full requirements for each Project will be issued at Mini Competition stage (Stage 2), Application stage is stage 1.
It is not a requirement that the Contractor provide the full range of Lots for the DPS and organisations can apply for one or any number of Lots listed below.

Lot 4 Internal Alterations
Lot 5 Door Operating Device - Organisations must be accredited to the:

Organisations wishing to apply for any of the above lots can access the documentation after registering interest via th ProContract electric tendering portal (the link is provided in additional information below) giving you the option to access/view the DPS immediately, once accessed you will then be able to download the documents which should be visible at the bottom of the screen. All required documentation MUST be fully completed and then uploaded back into this electronic portal, including any necessary supporting documents, for verification by the Authority. Further details are available within the Documents once downloaded.
You only need to make one application for the DPS and you will be notified via the NEPO Portal if your application is successful or if any further information is required. If further rounds are advertised after you have applied you DO NOT need to reapply. We will advise any organisation should we require further information.
After you have received a successful letter and been accepted onto the DPS any request for quotes will be sent via the NEPO portal to all organisations who have expressed an interest in the relevant Lot and will receive a notification via the NEPO portal which is titled **Mini Competition**.
