Description

The works at Oakwood Park will involve the removal of existing timber footpath edgings and the excavation of existing footpaths to new 2m width. The existing footpaths have suffered damage from heavy rainfall therefore the supply and lay of new pre-cast concrete edgings, make up of stone sub-base levels and surfacing of paths with tarmac is required. In order to improve accessibility onto the footpath network, new dropped kerb crossing points are proposed along the existing footpath onto the park from Springwood Leisure Centre. The supply and installation of land drainage may be required in localised areas as necessary.
