Description
Research into making the current Student Officer Training programme at British Transport Police more effective has recommended that branching digital scenarios be designed developed and implemented, to allow learners to practice real-world tasks in a safe but realistic setting.
This repetition of decision-making will reinforce best practice and increase preparedness for new recruits being deployed on the rail network.
The supplier will need to already be familiar with police initial recruit training and have worked with similar organisations previously. The supplier will also need to be familiar with the specifics of the BTP recruit training programme or they will need to be able to familiarise themselves with it as part of this work.
The supplier will need to provide examples of work which will be used to evaluate the supplier. We will be looking at:
- How engaging the eLearning is
- How clear and concise the messaging is
- How modern the product is
- How interactive the product is
- How accessible the product is
- How user friendly the product is
The supplier will need to suggest and propose what topics and what content is covered in each of the scenarios.
