Description

The English Institute of Sport is seeking to engage with providers of leadership development services to support the planning and delivery of its Performance Support Leadership Development for Heads of Performance Support (HoPS) over the current 2020 Tokyo Olympic & Parlaympic cycle.
HoPS operate as part of the senior leadership team within sports and also lead and manage teams of sport science and sports medical practitioners. HoPS are directly line managed by the Performance Directors, with accountability to the EIS Director of Performance Support.
This development programme / experience will be designed and delivered to help support their growth and impact in the 2020 cycle, fulfil learning potential, maximise the resource of mentors already working with the individual HoPS and help consolidate a well-connected network of peers who are able to utilise each other as a powerful resource.
We are therefore seeking to engage with a leadership development provider to work with us over the next 2 years to develop bespoke development interventions. It is anticipated that learning and 'growth' will be facilitated through a variety of mechanisms, some formal and direct and some less formal and self-directed.
We are interested in drawing on the evidenced based knowledge and experiences of 'you' as an expert in this field to shape the right approach for the HoPS.
The successful tenderer will take responsibility to 'lead' the delivery of project but will be accountable to a named member of the EIS Performance Support Team, working as part of a strategic group, to ensure all resources are aligned to the strategic direction and with key stakeholders.
