Description

This procurement exercise is for the implementation of a Framework Agreement to provide a contract for the receipt, segregation, recycling and disposal of all materials delivered to their designated facility by the Council's own fleet and employed subcontractors.

Durham County Council is seeking to appoint a framework of suppliers for Lots 1, 2 and 3, 4 and 5 to provide segregation, recycling and disposal of all materials delivered to their designated facility by the Council's own fleet and employed subcontractors.
The Lots have been split into the following waste streams:
Lot 1 Concrete/Brick/Mixture Lot 2 Soil/Stone Lot 3 Landfill Mixed Municipal Lot 4Gully Waste Lot 5 Green Waste/Tree & Root ball / Wood Mixed Material Grade C
It is the Council's intention to award suppliers to the Framework for each Lot separately. Potential Supplier(s) are able to tender for one or more or all Lot(s).
The Council makes no guarantee that they will be awarded any call off and no guarantee is made in respect of any volume of work under any such call off contracts, or in aggregate under the Framework Agreement.
