Description

The objective of this project is to research and develop an informative user friendly guide on maximising benefits of removal, discontinuance or repurposing of reservoirs.

Users are predominantly reservoir owners, which vary from individual farm owners to government bodies or water companies.

The impact of the work will ultimately
- improve reservoir safety and public protection,
- achieve improved outcomes (e.g. environmental, hydrological, ecological, societal etc.) and
- ensure all relevant considerations are taken into account when considering discontinuance, to achieve the most beneficial outcomes
