Description
Birmingham City Council requires a supplier for the provision of GBSLEP Growth Hub Web Site & IT Development & Maintenance.
The successful contractor will be expected to use the existing infrastructure and to shape and develop it to meet the needs of SMEs in Greater Birmingham, to conform to industry (particularly Growth Hubs) best practice and to enable the objectives of the Growth Hub in terms of engaging with and informing new and existing clients. It will also need to provide reports, guidance, analysis and advice on the use of web site and IT infrastructure for the Executive team of the Hub in order that it can make timely, informed and sound decisions on the management and use of the resource. It will be important for the provider to outline how much content management can be done by the core Hub team and how much will have to be delivered externally.
The contractor will also be expected to support the general operations and marketing of the Hub through the IT infrastructure, this may include automating processes wherever possible. Finally, the contractor will be expected to ensure that any relevant licences or domain name protections are in place at all times.
This contract will be for a period of 2 years commencing 1st June 2019 until 31st May 2021 with option to extend for 2 one (1) year extensions to be renewed on an annual basis based on previous performance.
