Description

To assist in the development of climate resilient rural roads in Tanzania by incorporating adaptation principles into the planning, engineering, and maintenance of them, and make recommendations on an appropriate funding mechanism for emergency responses to road network failures. The recipients for this work are Presidents Office of Regional and Local Government (PORALG), Tanzania Rural Roads Agency (TARURA) and District Councils, the Road Fund Board of Tanzania (RFB) and DFID.
