Military Research & Technology. In the coming months, Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S) plan to continue development of the Generic Vehicle Architecture (GVA). The Land Technical Authority within DE&S, supported by the GVA Technical Working Group (TWG), provides an opportunity for MoD and Industry to work together to identify, explore and provide potential solutions for current issues surrounding GVA. The aim of this is to provide coherence whilst driving out known issues surrounding integration, interoperability and openness amongst others. The GVA TWG will focus on developing appropriate, or utilising current, industry standards for the management of systems deployed onto the Vehicle and the overall physical architecture of the Vehicle.
