Description

The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC) Housing Management is looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced contractor. The project involves procurement of Works for the removal of the existing Warden Call Systems in the blocks listed below and its replacement with new a new Warden Call System complete with a DECT telephone system for Call handling and new wiring.

The warden call and DECT telephone system shall be capable of operating for a minimum of 24 hours in the event of an electrical mains power failure.

The contractor will be required to supply and install a standard system will consist of following main elements;
- The central control unit with 24-hour battery stand-by
- The resident intercom unit
- The scheme manager cordless DECT telephone system with 24 hour battery stand-by
- In addition to the PSTN communication links described above, the system shall have the option of a fully integrated Ethernet port to allow high speed communication over ADSL Broadband networks.
