Description

As part of the government's response to The Work and Pensions Committee report The Health and Safety Executive's approach to asbestos management, HSE is supporting in the implementation of the 13 recommendations that are being taken forward.

One of the key areas is improving technical knowledge in tradespeople to ensure they understand the dangers of asbestos in domestic properties - specifically the areas that asbestos may be located.

This project aims to build upon HSE's previous reference material by providing a real life example of the asbestos house

This project is produce video content, which will highlight the potential locations of asbestos in both domestic and commercial buildings. The final edits will include editorial-style graphics filled with statistics, text, and visual data representations.

3.1 Pre-production:

- Research of filming locations
- Liaison with duty holders
- Confirmation of filming rights

3.2 Production:

- Filming at a number of different locations (1-3) to provide a 360 walk-through of a property/properties (or enough to cover 20 hot spots as seen on (these images).
3.3 Post-production:

- Editing, including overlaid graphics clarifying key points, information, statistics and advice, to highlight danger areas/guidance.

3.4 Outputs:

- Master film with final edits
- Transfer of intellectual property rights to all footage filmed
