Description

The Council is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced professional practice to develop a masterplan for Towneley Park, a 184 hectare historic parkland landscape close to the centre of Burnley. This will be in the form of illustrated plan and text which identifies and explores options for the development and management of Towneley in a way that respects the biological and historic heritage of Towneley, whilst creating a modern park that that meet the needs of all sections of the community and the best opportunities for income generation. There will be extensive consultation, the plan should be complete in draft by end Sept 2023 and the budget is circa £20,000.
