Description
3100/528/CW/AMRC/21 TDM Systems
The University of Sheffield wishes to invite tenders for a Tooling Technology Inventory and Data Management System on behalf of the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre, Machining Group at Catcliffe, South Yorkshire.
Scope of Requirement
There is a requirement for a cutting tool management solution across all of the University of Sheffield AMRC's shop floors. The proposed solution will initially support the AMRC Factory of the Future (FoF), but be scalable for a wider implementation. As an estimate the FoF comprises 65 technical staff, of those 22 are operational staff, all will require access to the system. The Operational staff will be responsible for maintaining the system.
This tender aims to capture how the supplying company would propose that a best practice tool and tooling data management system is implemented on the AMRC FoF shop floor. Implementation support, system configuration and staff training are highly desirable to ensure the best outcome.
