Description

Cefas supports the construction of Sizewell C nuclear power station (SZC) by monitoring changes in the shoreline position and the geomorphology of nearshore features using a range of methods.
To support the calibration of shore-based, seaward looking instruments, a bathymetric survey of three calibration corridor transects within Sizewell Bay is required.
In addition, to assess geomorphological changes of two longshore bars, a bathymetric survey of one nearshore transect is also required.
