Description
The Secretary of State for the Home Department (the "Authority"), acting through the Interpersonal Abuse Unit, intends to make an amount up to £1,050,000 over three years (up to 31st March 2025) of grant funding available. This will fund one Recipient. We are seeking a dedicated CADA "what works" evaluation project to evaluate all projects that we fund to be delivered under CADA. Bidders must be able to demonstrate their ability to work with delivery partners (who will be contracted under the CADA fund), to deliver robust evaluation of these interventions.
Tackling VAWG is a top Government priority. In 2021, the Domestic Abuse Act received royal assent and introduced a new statutory definition of domestic abuse, recognising children as victims of domestic abuse in their own right. The Act will increase protections for victims and strengthen measures to pursue perpetrators. Alongside implementation of the Domestic Abuse Act, the government published the Tackling Violence Against Women and Girls Strategy in July 2021, which committed to investing in a "What Works" Fund for tackling VAWG.

This is an online competition managed via the Home Office eSourcing Portal, Jaggaer. If you are interested in finding out more about this funding opportunity below is a guide on how to register in order to gain access to the competition and its documentation on Jaggaer. We will not be sending any offline material relating to this competition.
1. Interested organisations must first be registered as a 'Supplier' on the Home Office e-Sourcing portal ttps://homeoffice.app.jaggaer.com/web/login.html
2. To register bidders must have a valid DUNS number (as provided by Dun and Bradstreet [D&B]) for the organisation which they are registering on behalf of.
3. If you do not have a DUNS number, please contact D&B UK directly on 0870 243 2344 (option 3), or online at http://www.dnb.co.uk/duns-form.asp.
4. Once registered on the portal, please email the Authority mailbox PVSC_VAWG@homeoffice.gov.uk and ask to be added to the event stating, "PVSC CADA Evaluation Portal Access" in the subject title.
5. Please note the email address used to register on the portal must be the same one used to advise "PVSC_VAWG@homeoffice.gov.uk" inbox as it is this email address that will be provided with access to the event.
6. Once you are added to the portal the "PVSC_VAWG@homeoffice.gov.uk" mailbox will acknowledge your inclusion to the event and Bidders must then accept this invitation via the Home Office e-Sourcing portal. You will then be able to view the suite of documents and online application for this grant funding. *From this point all further communications including the submission of your online bid will be managed via the portal.
7. If you have any IT technical difficulties concerning the Home Office eSourcing portal, neither the Home Office Commercial Hub nor those managing the PVSC mailbox will be able to offer any assistance. Please contact the Supplier e-Sourcing Helpdesk.
8. It is imperative you test your portal connection and become familiar with how to submit your bid well in advance of the deadline date. It is conceivable that because the portal operates on the web, internet traffic may affect performance of the portal and this cannot be cited as reason to seek an extension to the submission deadline date.
The HO Jaggaer e-Sourcing portal is independent of other e-Sourcing portals. Therefore, if you have registered on the Crown Commercial Service Jaggaer e-Sourcing portal, you will also need to register on the HO Jaggaer eSourcing portal. Please note that bids will only be accepted via the HO Jaggaer e-Sourcing portal. Any bids received outside of this system will not be considered by the Authority. Please note that registering for access to the e-Sourcing portal will not make you a Home Office supplier. To be considered for award of funding you must first respond to an opportunity.
