Description
Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council (SMBC) has secured funding from Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) to improve the energy efficiency of approximately 140 privately owned domestic properties by the end of March 2023 through the Sustainable Warmth Competition.
Sustainable Warmth will support low-income households in Solihull, living in energy inefficient homes by installing energy efficiency and low carbon heating upgrades with a delivery timeframe of January 2022 to March 2023.
The council have appointed a contractor to provide specific insulation and ventilation measures for approximately 100* households.
