PFI ADULT CARE HOME TRANSFORMATION IN CROYDON - Market engagement event

We are holding a prospective bidder's online presentation on Tuesday 12th December 2023.

The purpose of this event is to explore interest in our Private Finance Initiative (PFI) Adult Care Home Transformation Strategy. We are aiming to evolve the delivery of residential and nursing care, intermediate and proactive community and day care in Croydon, creating 'Centres of Excellence' which will provide long term care, rehabilitation, interim care and discharge to assess beds to meet the needs of Croydon's residents. The aim of this project is to procure an innovative delivery partner(s) to design and deliver the care and support provision at three PFI Adult Care Homes. Our plan involves commencing a procurement process to establish a new partnership.

We are looking for a partner(s) who:
share the same vision and direction as Croydon for this transformational work
are a supportive organisation
are purpose driven and properly invested
work in an interactive way with the Local Authority and Health to optimise provision at three adult care homes
are keen to build quality relationships to help achieve better outcomes for residents

Croydon Council and South West London ICB (Croydon) are working collaboratively to shape an exciting, new future opportunity to develop our Adult Care Homes for Older People in the borough with a range of needs, including Dementia, Learning Disabilities and Mental Health. There are currently 150 beds with a financial envelope of approximately £6M annually.

This future collaboration would create a new design and delivery partnership that fosters growth and supports innovation in Croydon across Adult Social Care, Health, Voluntary Community and Faith Sector, local communities and businesses. This opportunity holds tremendous potential, and we encourage you to consider it further.
