Description
This is an opportunity for suppliers to attend a 1-2-1 session with DWP representatives in relation to the future provision of a Document & Data Management Service (comprising of secure mail opening, document scanning, indexing, valuables handling and multi-format inbound channels)that will process up to c.100k items of DWP mail per day. These 1-2-1 sessions will take place on the 17th, 18th, & 19th August in Durham House, Washington, Tyne & Wear, NE38 7SD between 10:00 - 17:45.
DWP will be looking for a service which will have the capacity and capability to interface with its multiple systems and which delivers against its 2020 Vision.
In delivering against its 2020 Vision, DWP is committed to providing innovative and cost effective services whilst developing excellent Supplier and Stakeholder relationships. The transformation journey captures the reduction and removal of paper from the organisation; increasing interaction with the public through digital solutions. In realising that aim this further engagement event is an opportunity for suppliers to understand the Business Strategy & emerging Business Requirements; and provide DWP the opportunity to understand the supplier appetite for engagement which in turn will help inform its Procurement Strategy.
These sessions will be 1hr long and be split into 2 distinct parts,
1. We will be looking for the supplier to provide a response to the following areas detailed below;
• Overview of their own organisation including size, structure, core objectives;
• Insight into their experience on delivering similar size and complex services, demonstrating their proven track record;
• Demonstrating their understanding and intent of the DWP 2020 Vision and transformation;
2. Provides suppliers with the opportunity to raise questions with DWP.
All questions and answers raised will be captured and shared on e-procurement portal.
