Brief description:

We are looking for an Operations Manager experienced in adult social care operations and the delivery of a transformation programme. You must be able to design and operate an effective system of programme management and governance whilst also leading or supporting a range of key projects in adult safeguarding, LPS, integrated pathways, and structural change etc.

Good communication, partnership working, analytical skills and report writing are needed together with a can-do attitude and an ability to think creatively.

You will need to be motivated and flexible with a strengths-based approach and sound knowledge and experience of current legislation including the Care Act 2014, Continuing Health Care, Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and Community DoLS.

This is a 3-month post (with a possible extension for another 3 months) that provides a great opportunity to help shape and deliver a programme of transformation working with a friendly, skilled, diverse and supportive team in Sandwell. You will report to the Interim Assistant Director for adult social care and be part of a council that now has a national reputation for getting things done, where all local partners are focused on what really matters in people's lives and communities.
This role requires an enhanced Barring Adults DBS Check.
This role falls inside of IR35.
This role also requires the worker to enter a CQC regulated setting, therefore proof of the Covid 19 Vaccine will be required.
