Description

King's Disability Support Team offers a service to students to facilitate a full diagnostic assessment for specific learning difficulties (such as dyslexia and dyspraxia). Full diagnostic reports are essential gateway documents to provide eligibility for KIPs (reasonable adjustments) PAAs (Personalised Assessment Arrangements), and applications for DSA (Disabled Students' Allowance).

This exercise is intended to renew our partnerships with qualified practitioners and to recruit new practitioners to the pool of diagnostic assessors. Since 2015-16 consistently around 300 students each year have sought our help to look into the possibility of dyslexia (or other SpLD).
