Description

Synchronicity Care Limited (SCL) on behalf of CDDFT have awarded a contract by Direct Award to the supplier Portakabin Limited by utilising the NHS SBS framework.

Due to the effect of COVID-19 on the day-to-day practices of General Practitioner (GP) Surgeries in the area the general public have developed a tendency to attend A&E instead of scheduling an appointment at their local GP. This occurrence has placed more stress on the A&E department at UHND during a period where, due to the COVID-19 situation, the department is already under a lot of pressure. As such the installation of 2 modular buildings are to be placed in the car park at UHND. GPs will operate out of the modular buildings with the aim of reducing pressure on A&E.
