Description

2688/498/CW/NAMRC/20 CNC Bending Machine

The University of Sheffield wishes to invite tenders for a CNC Bending Machine on behalf of the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre, Nuclear Group at Catcliffe, South Yorkshire.

Scope of Requirement
The Nuclear AMRC require an automated CNC Bending Machine that will provide capabilities for fabrication activities for research projects. Currently nuclear industries require manufacturing processes that allows for the bending of hollow sections within a single operation with minimal operator interactions.

The Nuclear AMRC require the supply and integration of an automated CNC bending equipment with safe operating conditions. The installation of the equipment is to be carried out onsite at the Nuclear AMRC. Commissioning is to be carried out at the Nuclear AMRC and this will be carried out before the system is accepted.
