Description

The Severe Weather Emergency Protocol (SWEP) ensures that no one is forced to sleep outside in conditions that could threaten life or health. This protocol establishes clear criteria, responsibilities, and procedures for activating emergency accommodation for rough sleepers between 1 November and 31 March each year.

Central Bedfordshire Council is seeking to procure capacity from a provider organisation, towards the operation of its SWEP protocol, during winter 2025-26. Prospective providers are invited to tell us what service they could deliver, for an anticipated budget of around £70k.
