Description
'The University is seeking to award a contract for the periodic, preventative and reactive maintenance required to the Universities existing data centres and telephone exchanges (University of Leicester's Computer Centre Data Centre, Physics Data Centre, Michael Atiyah Data Centre, Bennett Data Centre and Telephone exchange). The maintenance works undertaken shall cover all mechanical, electrical services and the building fabric maintenance works in line with manufacturer's recommendations, statutory legislation and university requirements. The contract includes but is not limited to maintenance of the following equipment: All variable speed pumps; Air handling units (inc ductwork cleaning); Air Conditioning Units (ACU); Chillers; Water treatment plant; Refrigeration systems and heat pumps; Compressed air plant; Booster sets; Automatic controls and BEM's; Uninterruptable Power Systems (UPS); A Standby Generator; Fire suppression systems; Fire detection systems; Lighting and small power; Legionella management. The contract will also include: Monitoring, Alarm Notification, Site Response and System Analysis.'
