Description
Charles Darwin is a 420 primary plus 30 reception children school to be developed as a design and build refurbishment of an existing 1970's office block in Norwich. The school opened in the building in September 2016, EFA are delivering this project as part of the Free School programme. Tenders will be sought via competition, early works required for September 2017 intake with full completion for September 2018.

Contractors will need to demonstrate they have sufficient relevant experience to undertake the works in a live operational school environment. The contractors should have experience within their supply chain of designing schools, working within tight timescales and to constrained budgets and demonstrate they are able to resource a scheme of this complexity and have sufficient financial background and personnel to deliver the project
