Description

Elevate Berkshire is an employability and skills programme funded by the European Social Fund (ESF). The Elevate Berkshire partnership is made up of a number of key stakeholders including the 6 Berkshire local authorities, The Prince's Trust, Ways into Work and Adviza. The partnership also has a number of delivery partners - delivering activity on behalf of the key stakeholders.

The programme is led by a central Elevate Berkshire team based at Reading Borough Council, the accountable body, and brings together a range of other partners, as above, to support young people aged 16-24 in Berkshire who are hard-to-reach or have barriers to employment.

Elevate Berkshire Project to be Funded
The Elevate Berkshire programme is looking to procure a provider to deliver a project for young people aged 18-24 who are unemployed or economically inactive in Slough.

Slough Project 2
Project 2 is a fixed price contract of £40,000.
This project involves engaging and supporting those who are lone parents (18 -24) into employment, education, training or to gain basic skills.

The project is aimed at young people whose needs or barriers to work have resulted in them not participating in employment, training or education, or led to them moving in- and-out of these.

Activity will form part of the Elevate Berkshire ESF programme, and as such will be subject to European Social Fund procedures and processes.
