Description
The National Archives (TNA) is seeking to engage an external expert Leadership and Organisational Development Partner to work with us to design and deliver a suite of leadership development interventions. These interventions may include (but are not limited to) the use of diagnostic tools, 360 feedback, psychometric instruments, workshop design and facilitation, large and small group interventions, coaching and action learning. These leadership development interventions form part of a wider strategic OD intervention, to grow and develop strong, resilient leadership capability, and collaborative, inclusive leadership, across The National Archives, and to build a talent pipeline for succession planning.
The Head of HR and Organisational Development and the HR Manager - Organisational Development have OD, leadership and L&D expertise, and we expect the successful partner to work collaboratively with us, using our experience as a source of data and sounding-board at each stage of design and delivery.
We do not expect this intervention to be an off-the-shelf leadership programme, though we are interested in learning from those which have been run in order to tailor the right intervention(s) for TNA.
Given the current situation, the successful partner will need to be able to work with us and deliver virtually as well as in-person, adhering at all times to government guidance and social distancing requirements.
We anticipate letting this contract for a three year period commencing in January 2021, with an option to extend for a further twelve months. The estimated maximum contract value is £110,000.
This procurement will be run as a two-stage tender. For stage one of the process, we are requesting that potential suppliers respond to this requirement with a statement of no more than 1,000 words describing their experience in delivering these types of services to organisations of a similar type and/or scale. TNA will assess these submissions on a quality basis, and envisages shortlisting a maximum of six potential suppliers to participate in the second stage of the tender process.
Please submit the requested statement to procurement@nationalarchives.gov.uk by 5pm on Friday 9th of October 2020.
