Description

The requirement must include, Petrol Interceptor cleaning and the removal of Interceptor waste for 9 Interceptors located around the Castle Hill Hospital site. Interceptor locations are marked as per site plan. Waste disposal is also required and must comply with relevant/current Waste Regulations.

The requirement must also include, Gully Cleaning and removal of waste to approximately 260 road park Gullies, located around the Castle Hill Hospital site. Waste disposal is also required and must comply with relevant/current Waste Regulations.

The successful bidder will be required to attend the Castle Hill Hospital site, for two visits per annum, falling in March and September of each year. The successful bidder will be a required to give two days prior notification, to the hospital Estates Manager, of work commencing, in order to barrier areas around the Petrol Interceptors for access.

Work personnel assigned to the cleaning work must be trained and competent in procedures and equipment used during the contracted work. All appropriate protective equipment/clothing required during the contracted work, must be provided by the supplier and must be appropriate to work hazards and compliant with current health and safety regulations.

Reports of all works carried out during the two annual site visits must be supplied directly after each visit. Please provide an example of this report, alongside your completed Request for Quotation form. In addition, any defects to the interceptors identified during the cleaning must be reported to the Estates Manager.

A waste consignment note and quarterly report must be supplied, to confirm authorised waste disposal, in line with the relevant/current Waste Regulations.
