Medway operates a Partnership Commissioning arrangement across Kent and Medway ICB and Medway Council to commission joint services and programmes of work to improve outcomes for children and young people. Partnership Commissioning is looking for a provider who can: Support children and young people (0-19 or up to 25 for those with special educational needs) and their families in Medway utilising evidence-based interventions prior and post a diagnosis of ADHD/ASC; or where they do not receive a formal diagnosis but are presenting with behavioural distress post assessment. Develop a programme of activities across Medway and Swale, for children and young people (0-18 or up to 25 for those with special educational needs) with long term health conditions, and their families, to enable them to feel more emotionally able and empowered in managing their health needs. Support children and young people through a Positive Behaviour Support approach, by utilising at least one Board Certified Behavioural Analysts (BCBA) Positive behaviour Support (PBS) Practitioners who will provide support for individuals displaying behavioural distress using PBS. Practitioners will conduct individual functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA) and develop Behavioural Support Plans (BSP), working with the family/carer CYP/school in the case work model. The casework model will work with cases rated on a scale as High using a referral triage scale of Low, Medium and High (which is typical for PBS triage).
