FOR TRANSPARENCY ONLY - CONTRACT AWARD - DE&S Commercially Supported Shipping, Salvage & Marine Operations which is part of the UK Ministry of Defence, has placed a contract with Cwaves Limited (Company Registration number 05417937) for a survey of the wreck of the WWII tanker RFA War Mehtar located 15NM east of Great Yarmouth. The wreck is leaking oil and an assessment to evaluate the degree of risk posed and to determine future management options is urgently required.
