Description

Leicester City Council invites Tenders from suitably qualified and experienced organisations for the provision of a 24 hour medically-supervised dedicated-inpatient-treatment service for Leicester City residents. Inpatient detox and stabilisation services are an important component of local plans to improve recovery outcomes in Leicester and deliver safe and effective services to the increasing numbers of individuals in treatment.

The Authority wishes to implement a block and spot contract for this service based on current and known funding allocations. The proposed Contract will be for an initial period of 3 years to commence on 1st June 2023, with an option to extend, subject to satisfactory performance outcomes and agreement by the Authority, for a further period, or periods up to a total of 2 years, up to 31st May 2028, taking the contract term to a maximum of 5 years.

The contract value assigned to the block element is £226,949 per annum, £1,134,745 for the full 5 year contract period. Subject to availability, additional funding may be earmarked for spot commissioning additional services as an when required. No guarantee can be given to this additional activity as it is demand led.
