Description

Staffordshire County Council (SCC) would like to hear from Providers who have the skills and knowledge to deliver a Citizens Inquiry Programme to support the work of Supportive Communities team, Public Health.

The aim of the Programme is to create the conditions to engage, involve and empower communities to understand, prioritise and co-produce solutions to address 'what communities and organisations can do together to help people be healthy and sustain positive wellbeing'. To provide qualitative insight to work with citizens to identify the root causes of Health Inequalities which drives poor health and wellbeing in certain populations, which in turn, can lead to an increased demand for adult Social care services.

The outcomes of the Programme will support the aims and objectives of Supportive Communities working with our Community Champions programme.

The COVID-19 pandemic has placed an even greater emphasis on the benefits of living healthier lives. The Citizen's Inquiry will consist of 4 phases:

Phase one - Citizen's Inquiry sessions
Phase two - Commentator sessions
Phase three - Community Led research
Phase four - Recommendations and report

There are two Lots. Potential Providers can bid for one or both Lots:
• Newcastle Under Lyme (Lot One)
• Tamworth (Lot Two)

SCC will purchase one Programme per lot.
