Description

By 2030 we want Surrey to be a uniquely special place where everyone has a great start to life, people live healthy and fulfilling lives, are enabled to achieve their full potential and contribute to their community, and no one is left behind. Our ambition is that everyone benefits from education, skills and employment opportunities that help them succeed in life and enable businesses in Surrey thrive.

The improving health and wellbeing outcomes through IPSPC employment support programme will test how to increase the use of employment support as a driver of improved health and wellbeing outcomes, in order to reduce health inequalities and reduce demand on the health and social care system. It will also test the role of statutory organisations in making local systems more resilient and accessible, and the economic impacts of support those furthest from the labour market into mainstream long-term employment. The Project also involves new ways of working with local partners and stakeholders in different parts of local systems to ensure solutions are co-designed and co-delivered and put citizens at the heart from the outset.
